This initiative is a part of the Ulaanbaatar Urban Services and Ger Areas Development Investment Program, which aims to educate high and middle school students from Regional School No. 58 and members of the Sukhbaatar district student council about preventing violence, harassment, and bullying in various environments. The training program was conducted in March 2024, consisting of four sessions under the theme of "Providing knowledge to prevent violence in public and private spaces."
The primary goal of the training was to provide participants with information about the causes of violence and effective preventive measures. A total of 108 students participated in the training, of which 52 were girls. The program covered a wide range of topics related to public and private spaces, including different forms of online violence, prevention strategies, and how to seek assistance from a trusted adult when facing or witnessing potential risks. The training also emphasized the significance of establishing personal boundaries in relationships and friendships, ensuring the protection of one's personal space, fostering healthy relationships, and respecting the desires and interests of others. Additionally, the participants gained insights and knowledge on preventing harassment and inappropriate communication.
